On Friday, Oct. 30, from 6 to 9 pm, Dance the Yard will collaborate with the Martha’s Vineyard Museum and local musicians organized by Phil DaRosa to produce a site-specific re-working of Alison Manning and Jesse Keller’s full-length piece, “The Blue of Distance.” The event will be held at the future location of the Martha’s Vineyard Museum, the former Marine Hospital in Vineyard Haven. Audience members will be led around select rooms in the Marine Hospital; each room will have a different section of the dance piece, and surprises will be around every corner.
