Cheers to Bad Martha’s, the seasonal brewery situated in Donaroma’s Nursery in Edgartown, for its recent honor at the Great International Beer & Cider Competition in Providence, R.I. According to a press release, the brewery took home a silver and two bronze medals, which brings the total to eight medals earned by the local brewmasters in the past two years.
This year Bad Martha brought home silver for Bad Martha’s Summer Ale (light ale-golden category) and bronzes for Roscoe’s Brown Ale (brown-porter category) and Belgian Blonde (Belgian-saison category). There were 680 beers and ciders entered in the competition from breweries and cideries across the U.S. and around the world. On Nov. 20 and 21, Bad Martha will return to the Boston Beer Summit for its sixth annual craft beer tasting event, Harvest Fest.
