In Cape Cod Basketball League play over the weekend, the Martha’s Vineyard boys eighth grade team beat Bourne 55-17, led by Ben Peter’s four three-pointers. Adding an evenly dispersed 10 points each were Jared and Jeremy Regan, Adam Knight, and Solon Oliver. Game two found the Vineyard overmatched with undefeated Dartmouth, losing 74-24. The boys record now stands at 2-6.
The seventh grade boys improved to 7-1 with wins over Dennis-Yarmouth, 60-39, and Silver Lake, 50-29. Josh Billings and Aiden Rogers contributed on the offensive end.
