Oak Bluffs library celebrates Earth Day

The misty, wet weather Saturday morning did little to dampen the spirits of dozens of youngsters participating in Earth Day activities at the Oak Bluffs Public Library. The scheduled events included seed planting, building with recyclables, silk-screening T shirts, and an environmentally inspired dance workshop co-presented by the Yard’s “Making It” program, the Charter School, and the OBPL.

Although the weather improved by afternoon, the scheduled visit of baby goats and pigs, courtesy of Scapegoats Goatscaping in West Tisbury, was postponed to a later date, yet to be determined.
