Kate Fournier of Noepe Design offers hand-drawn textiles, silkscreened and sewn into a range of unique, functional bags. The Rhode Island School of Design graduate has been designing and sewing since she was 13 years old. Kate launched Noepe Design just over a year ago, after a winter spent thinking of ideas in her free time around her landscaping job. Products include wristlets, clutches, totes, fold-over totes, crossbody bags, purses, prints, and pillows. Kate’s textile designs are made from original silkscreens that start with pencil illustrations of images that inspire her. After careful consideration, research, and and color selections inspired by nature and interior design, Kate chooses the desired linen and leather hide to create her popular bags.
Noepe Design can be found in store at Citrine, Driftwood, Pandora’s Box, and Stefanie Wolf Designs, as well as at the Vineyard Artisans Festival and the Chilmark Flea Market. Products begin at $47. firstname.lastname@example.org, noepedesign.com.
