At the Edgartown Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven on Sept. 12, nine tables were in play. Finishing first in the North-South position were Gail Farrish and Warren Morse, followed by Gerry Averill and Dave Donald in second, Lolly Hand and Diane Drake in third, and K Bovey and Judy Spruance in fourth. In the East-West direction, Story Osborne and Parker Crowell finished in first place, followed by Judy Balph and Jim Kaplan in second, George and Isabel Shattuck in third, and Judy Cronig and Molly Mattoon in fourth place.
At the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven on Sept. 13, nine pairs competed. Tied for first place overall were John O’Keefe, playing with Andy Jacknain, and Cheryl Neal, playing with Gerry Averill. Finishing in a tie for third place were Story Foster, playing with Barbara Besse, and Colleen Morris, playing with Art Spielvogel.
At the Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury on Sept. 15, seven pairs competed. Finishing in first place were John O’Keefe and Andy Jacknain, followed by Barbara Besse and Miles Jaffe in second, and Carol Whitmarsh and Sari Lipkin in third.
