At the Edgartown Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven on Oct. 17, nine pairs competed. Finishing in first place were Barbara Silk and Dave Donald, followed by Bea Phear and Mollie Whalen in second, Ken Judson and Carol Whitmarsh in third, and Julia Burgess and Barbara Alleyne in fourth. Game time is 1:15.
At the 7 pm Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club meeting in Vineyard Haven on Oct. 18, 11 pairs competed. First place went to Barbara Silk and Mollie Whalen, followed by Carol Whitmarsh and Barbara Besse in second, Lolly Hand and Diane Drake in third, and Michel Riel and Dave Donald in fourth place.
At the 6 pm Island Bridge Club meeting on Oct. 25, 10 pairs competed. Finishing in a tie for first place overall were Diana Dozier, playing with Mollie Whalen, and Ken Judson, playing with Carol Whitmarsh.
