At the Edgartown Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven on Nov. 7, 12 pairs competed. Finishing in first place were Abe Seiman and Art Spielvogel, followed by Diana Dozier and Gerry Averill in second, Barbara Alleyne and Julia Burgess in third, Kevin Carey and Carolyn Flynn in fourth, and Ency Fokos and John O’Keefe in fifth place. Games begin at 1:15.
At the 7 pm Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven on Nov. 8, 11 pairs competed. First place went to Barbara Silk and Mollie Whalen, followed by Gerry Averill and Richard Williams in second, Dotti Arnold and Cheryl Neal in third, and Bea Phear and Deirdre Ling in fourth place.
The starting time for the Island Bridge Club has been changed back to 7 pm. At the game held Nov. 10, 10 pairs competed. Finishing in first place were Robert and Ency Fokos, followed by Dan and Nancy Cabot in second place, Barbara Silk and Bea Phear in third, and Cathy Minkiewicz and Richard Williams in fourth.
