At the Edgartown Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven on Nov. 28, five pairs competed. Finishing in first place were Judy Cronig and Molly Mattoon, followed by Jane Haley and Pat Devany in second. Games begin at 1:15.
At the 7 pm Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven on Nov. 29, eight pairs competed. First place went to Michel Riel and Dave Donald, followed by Bea Phear and Cecily Greenaway in second, and Lolly Hand and Diane Drake in third place.
At the Dec. 1, 7 pm game of the Island Bridge Club, 10 pairs competed. First place went to Dave Donald and Rich Colter, followed by Carol Whitmarsh and Barbara Besse in second, Mollie Whalen and Cecily Greenaway in third, and Dan and Nancy Cabot in fourth place.
The Island Bridge Club made its annual charity contributions to three Island nonprofits. This year the club voted to donate $400 each to Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Friends of Up-Island Council on Aging, and Hospice of Martha’s Vineyard.
