The 2017 presentation of SCORE’s Small Business Owner of the Year award will be made to Mario Spindola of ohDeer Martha’s Vineyard in Edgartown at the annual Cape Cod SCORE Awards Breakfast, beginning at approximately 8 am, May 18, at Old Yarmouth Inn, 233 Route 6A, Yarmouth Port.
According to a press release, ohDeer uses a National Organic Program (NOP)– and FIFRA 25–compliant spray. The products, which are human-safe, are composed of essential oils like peppermint, soybean, wintergreen, and rosemary. They have been approved and certified to be safe with animals and humans outside in the immediate area, as well as in open waters.
