After being closed for a little more than an hour, Beach Road is back open at this hour.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation and the State Police closed Beach Road in Vineyard Haven Tuesday morning due to flooding, Tisbury Police officials said. A White Bros-Lynch dump truck was positioned to block traffic at Five Corners. However many motorists could be seen attempting to maneuver around the truck.
