The following letter was sent to Jamie Douglas and Christine Cardoza of the Black Dog.
On behalf of the board and staff of the Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard, please accept our thanks for your continued and unwavering support of our work.
Your check from the Saturday, March 31, dog adoption day at the Edgartown Black Dog arrived this week. As always, we are very grateful for your financial support. But we are also grateful for the Black Dog’s very visible support of animal adoption. The strong support of an Island institution like the Black Dog for an issue that is at the core of our mission means a great deal to us.
We look forward to working with the Black Dog again in the near future, and especially with Christine and the staff of the Edgartown store, who are always so welcoming and thoughtful.
