Aquinnah will be the last, but certainly not the least, town to hold its annual town meeting this year, with 34 articles on this year’s town warrant.
The town will also be voting on amendments to its personnel bylaws. The amendments range from one-word alterations to added responsibilities for the town administrator.
Several of the articles concern money transfers for various town expenses, including $200,000 for the Up-Island Regional School District, $170,000 for several Community Preservation projects, $100,000 for a maintenance stabilization fund for town buildings, and $30,000 for a new boat for the shellfish constable and harbormaster.
The annual town meeting is Tuesday, May 8, at 7 pm at Aquinnah Town Hall.
