The 13th annual Martha’s Vineyard International Film Festival ended last Sunday with a festive wrap party at La Soffitta in Vineyard Haven. Over the course of six days and nights, the festival presented 18 feature films from over 15 countries around the world. Always scheduled for the weekend after Labor Day, the festival keeps the streets of Tisbury active with ardent “filmies” from far and wide. The festival’s organizer, Richard Paradise, is to be commended for his continued and dedicated efforts to bring fine films to the shores of the Island.
