That’s a wrap

Andrew Olson (featured in "The Cape") poses with Richard Paradise, who conceived of and ran the International Film Festival, Paul Picco (who directed the winning short "Boccamazzo Construction - We Build Walls") and Spencer Curnutt of "Homecoming."

The 13th annual Martha’s Vineyard International Film Festival ended last Sunday with a festive wrap party at La Soffitta in Vineyard Haven. Over the course of six days and nights, the festival presented 18 feature films from over 15 countries around the world. Always scheduled for the weekend after Labor Day, the festival keeps the streets of Tisbury active with ardent “filmies” from far and wide. The festival’s organizer, Richard Paradise, is to be commended for his continued and dedicated efforts to bring fine films to the shores of the Island.

  1. A big THANK YOU to all of our sponsors, volunteers, attendees and staff for making the 13th MV International Film Festival. See you at the MV Film Center this off-season for more independent and world cinema.
