At the Sept. 24, 1:15 pm game of the Edgartown Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven, nine tables were in play for International Charity Fund event. Finishing in first place overall were Barbara Silk and David Donald, followed by Barbara Besse and Wink Winkelman in second, Gerry Averill and Carol Whitmarsh in third, Cyndee Dennehy and Penny Guest in fourth, and Sandy and Michael Lindheimer in fifth place. Also finishing in their direction were Jim Kaplan and Brooks Robards, Diane Drake and Lolly Hand, and George and Isabel Shattuck.
Thirteen pairs competed in an International Charity Fund event at the Sept. 25, 7 pm game of Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven. Finishing in first place overall were David Donald and Michel Riel, followed by Barbara Besse and Sandy Lindheimer in second, Cecily Greenaway and John O’Keefe in third, Barbara Silk and Mollie Whalen in fourth, and Dotti Arnold and Cheryl Neal in fifth.
And at the Sept. 27, 7 pm game of the Island Bridge Club, 12 pairs competed. First place overall went to Mollie Whalen and Cecily Greenaway, followed by David Donald and Rich Colter in second, Jim Kaplan and Brooks Robards in third, Diane Drake and Lolly Hand in fourth, and Ency and Robert Fokos in fifth place.
