At the Oct. 15, 1:15 PM game of the Edgartown Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven, seven tables were in play. Finishing in first place in the North-South direction were Carol Whitmarsh and Deirdre Ling, followed by Warren Morse and Gail Farrish in second, and Lolly Hand and Diane Drake in third. In the East-West direction, Barbara Besse and Wink Winkelman finished first, followed by Dave Donald and John O’Keefe in second, and Judy Cronig and molly Mattoon in third.
Seven pairs competed at the Oct. 16, 7 pm game of Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven. Finishing in first place overall were Cecily Greenaway and Bea Phear, followed by Barbara Besse in second, and David Donald and Michel Riel in third.
And at the Oct. 18, 7 pm game of the Island Bridge Club, six pairs competed. First place overall went to Dave Donald and John O’Keefe. Tied for second place was Bea Phear, playing with Cecily Greenaway, and Caroline Baum, playing with Michel Riel.
