At the Oct. 29, 1:15 pm game of the Edgartown Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven, 10 pairs competed. Finishing in a tie for first place were Gerry Averill, playing with Diana Dozier, Ken Judson, playing with John O’Keefe, and Mollie Whalen, playing with Bea Phear. Fourth place went to Barbara Besse and Wink Winkelman.
Eight pairs competed at the Oct. 30, 7 pm game of Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven. Finishing in first place overall were Bea Phear and Mollie Whalen, followed by Colleen Morris and Art Spielvogel in second, and Dotti Arnold and Barbara Alleyne in third place.
And at the Nov. 1, 7 pm game of the Island Bridge Club, seven pairs competed. First place overall went to Dave Donald and Rich Colter, followed by Ency and Robert Fokos in second place. Tied for third place were Barbara Silk, playing with Bea Phear, and Bari Boyer, playing with Barbara Besse.
