We’ve rounded up some holiday pop-ups and go-to spots so you can get all your shopping done early this holiday season. When in doubt — shop local.

There will be a holiday sale at the Aquinnah Town Hall on Saturday, Dec. 8. Browse handmade gifts by Island artisans including wampum jewelry, pottery, dance inspired clothing, painting, art cards, herbal salves and balms, baked goods from Orange Peel Bakery, and much more. There will also be an ornament and card-making craft table, and food by the Food Truck. Stop by anytime from 10 am to 4 pm. For more information, email aquinnahartisans@gmail.com.

The Vineyard Holiday Gift Shop is open for business every day at their old Spring Street, Vineyard Haven location. They’ll be open from 10 am to 6 pm until Christmas Eve. The local artisans gift shop will have a raffle basket with items from different featured Island artists. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit a chosen Island non-profit. Next on your Island shopping list could be the West Tisbury Farmers Market. They’re open Saturdays through Dec. 15 from 10 am to 1 pm at the Ag Hall in West Tisbury. The indoor farmers market features locally grown produce, meat, and locally made products. There’s always a little added holiday flair this time of year. For more information, visit wtfmarket.org.

The Vineyard Artisans Festival annual holiday fair is on Saturday, Dec. 15, at the Grange Hall, from 10 am to 4 pm. For more information, visit vineyardartisans.com.

Featherstone’s 16th annual Holiday Gift Shop will be open daily from 12 to 4 pm. It’s located in the Francine Kelly Gallery, and runs through Dec. 16. As always, it’ll feature different Island artists and gifts galore including apparel, accessories, cards, calendars, jewelry, pottery, ornaments, and other stocking stuffers. Weekends leading up to Christmas Day, Island Alpaca will host open houses from 10 am to 4 pm. This is an opportunity to shop alpaca products, as well as enjoy the unique experience on the farm. Hot cider will be served. For more information, visit islandalpaca.com.

Island Made Holidays at Alley’s farm stand continues daily from 10 am to 6 pm through Christmas Eve. They have their regular selection of Island-made art, jewelry, ornaments, wampum, jams, jellies, pottery, and more. New this year are Island vendors Lisa Vanderhoop with her Sea Dog Productions, and Caroline Taylor with her handmade jewelry and tiles. For more information, email llawestiz@gmail.com.

The Annex, a new Island artist cooperative, will be open by appointment through the holiday season. Shop Roy Bikini, Hawkhouse, Littlest Fish Designs, Bee Well MV, Kenworthy, and more. The Workshop in Vineyard Haven, right next to The Times, will also host a holiday shop this season. They’re open Wednesday through Fridays from 1 to 6 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 4 pm. The holiday pop-up runs through Christmas Eve, where they’ll be open from 10 am to 2 pm. Browse handmade art from local makers including printmaking by Althea Designs, clothing by Conrado, wall art and jewelry by Elysha Joy Metals, pottery by Leslie Freeman, and glass by Wil Sideman.

There’s a World Market Holiday Shop open every day until Sunday, Dec. 23, from 10 am to 6 pm. This holiday shop is part of a larger initiative by five local women to raise money for communities in Haiti, Tanzania, India, Palestine, and Zambia.
