Golden Bull Brazilian steakhouse will open next month at 13 Beach Rd. in Vineyard Haven after a long bout of preparatory renovation. Thiago Machado, president of Golden Bull Brazilian Steak House Corp., received unanimous approval from Tisbury selectmen Tuesday night for a common victualler’s license. The board signed both the victualler’s license and an all-alcohol license that had been approved conditionally in October.
“I live on the Vineyard. I know how hard it is to find a place where you can sit down and have a nice meal at a decent price,” Machado told the board. As a landscaper for the past nine years, Machado said he appreciated that workers have a limited window to eat. In light of that, he said Golden Bull would be open from 7 am to 11 pm year-round.
“I think the place came out really, really nice,” he said. “I think the community is going to like what we created. We’ve put a lot of work into it. The place looks beautiful inside. We are very, very happy with the end result.”
Foodwise, Machado said Golden Bull is going big. “We’re going to have a huge selection of salad, 16 different types of meat, and a huge selection of hot dishes,” he said.
Selectman Melinda Loberg said the town is looking forward to patronizing the establishment.
“We wish you the best of luck,” chairman Tristan Israel said.
