Meditation training program at Martha’s Vineyard Hospital

Dr. Elliott Dacher will present a 7-week meditation training program at Martha’s Vineyard Hospital, beginning Wednesday evening October 2nd. According to a press release, Meditation has two aims. The first is to cultivate a healthy human life by reducing stress, reactivity, and the overactive mind while creating mental clarity, inner peace, and improved relationships. A healthy life translates into a more hardy and resilient physiology. The second aim of meditation is human flourishing — the cultivation of a stable inner calm, a resilient joy, and intuitive wisdom, authentic compassion, and wisdom. Through discussion and practice instruction participants will begin a lifetime program of meditation. For information and registration contact Avery at Martha’s Vineyard Hospital at: or 508-957-9479.
