Twenty-eight members of the Martha’s Vineyard Cribbage Club met on Dec. 18 at the P.A. Club to play. Six games were played with 2 points for a win, 0 points for a loss, and 3 points for a skunk, which is a win by more than 30 points. We had a total of 12 skunks for the night, and nine 24-point hands.
The night’s results were: First place David Pothier with a 13/6 plus 113 card; second was Bob Hakenson with a 13/5 plus 137 card; third was Richie Combra with a 10/5 plus 62 card; fourth was Tony Rezendes with a 10/5 plus 39 card; fifth was Bill Russell with a 9/4 plus 62 card; sixth was Elmer Vanderhoop with a 9/4 plus 61 card, and seventh was Jack Silvia with a 9/4 plus 21 card.
