Spencer Bramwell went yard with a two-run shot to right-center in the third inning as the Sharks jumped out to a 4-0 lead and Jake Berger belted a three-run homer in the sixth to put the hosts up, 8-1.

The Sharks put up four more runs in the seventh. Brad Grenkoski drew a lead-off walk, stole third and scored on a passed ball, Will Duff singled to score Jayden Jackson and Ryan Hernandez hit a two-RBI double.

Tommy Seidl singled to lead off the Sharks eighth and scored on a Matt Woods double to close out the night for the MV offense.

Sharks starter Ryan Ramsey got the win, allowing just three hits and a run, while striking out eight and walking three in five innings. Oliver McCarthy pitched three innings of two-hit ball, striking out five more Westerners and walking one and Alex Galvan pitched the ninth.

The Sharks (12-8) are off on a four-game road trip before returning to the Tank next Wednesday to host the Valley Blue Sox of Holyoke at 7 pm.
