Emergency road work on Main Street in Edgartown may cause delays and detours Monday afternoon and early evening, according to a text alert from the town of Edgartown. On Tuesday morning, the work continued.
Police Chief Bruce McNamee told The Times that Verizon is performing the work and the road had to be opened up.
