I loved reading “Tietje to the rescue!” (Dec. 28) in The Times. His dad and I, as teenagers in New Jersey, once won a “lucky number” dance. You remember these special events in your teens. Thank you, Jim, and thanks to your Dad, known then as Buddy Tietje.
