Shannon Gregory Carbon died unexpectedly on Oct. 10, 2023, at the age of 53. Shannon was a beloved teacher, dedicated community member, friend, sister, and mother. 

There will be a private family burial, with a larger service to be announced at a later date. A complete obituary will appear in a future edition of this paper.
