The family is saddened to announce the passing of Michael Allen Furino.
Michael passed away at the age of 39 on Oct. 20, 2023, at his home in Edgartown. He was born in Framingham on Feb. 13, 1984.
Mike will be forever remembered for his easygoing attitude and fun-loving sense of humor, always making us laugh.
Mike’s love for the sea included fishing, clamming, crabbing, and boating. He loved beach treasure hunting and creating beautiful jewelry.
Mike was an incredibly talented stonemason, a gift passed on from his father, Tom.
Mike was predeceased by his brother, David; his father, Tom; and his grandparents, Domenic and Nancy Furino. He leaves behind his loving mother, Barbara; his grandparents, Judy and Larry Stearns; his uncle, David, and aunts, Robin and Liz Furino; and cousins Kevin and Mitchell Stearns.
