Expanding the Conversation: Israel/Palestine invites the Island community to a screening of “’Til Kingdom Come,” with a discussion moderated by MV Times publisher Charles M. Sennott to follow.
The screening will run on Monday, April 1, from 6 to 8 pm in the West Tisbury library community room, and it is free and open to the public.
“’Til Kingdom Come,” a documentary by Israeli filmmaker Maya Zinshtein, offers a deep dive into the political alliance between American evangelicals and Israel’s right wing, and its significant impact on the foreign policy of the Trump administration. This is the first film in a series that will explore different facets of the history and political realities surrounding Palestine and Israel.
Expanding the Conversation: Israel/Palestine is a group of Islanders formed after Oct. 7 to come together in community amid complex feelings, to have difficult conversations, raise awareness, and inspire action toward lasting peace. It stands for peace, truth, justice, and humanity, and against Islamophobia, anti-Semitism, and all forms of racism and dehumanization.
