Tuesday and Friday lunch information: The meal is served at noon. Feel free to come anytime after 11 am to join us. You must call by 12 pm the day before to register.
- June 6: 1 pm, “Still Life Drawing — Spring Blooms.” Materials will be provided.
- June 7: 12 pm, Lunch ’n’ Learn with Sarah Barnes and Kiki Homer of M.V. Mediation. They will discuss how elder mediation can resolve conflicts and improve family communication. It can address topics like residence decisions, distribution of caregiving responsibilities, safety and health concerns, and wills and estates.
- June 10: Hearing Checks with Shawn Woodbrey, At Home Hearing. Call for an appointment.
- June 10: No yoga with Jennifer today. Please note the last class for the season will be June 24. Classes resume in September.
- June 11: 11 am, Coffee with a Cop with Sgt. Will Bishop of the Edgartown Police Department
- June 11: 12 – 1 pm, Wellness clinic with town nurse
- June 18: 11 am, informational talk: “Medicare 101” with Barnstable County SHINE program manager Kristina White O’Brien. Come and listen, bring questions, and stay for lunch after.
- June 19: The Anchors is closed in observance of Juneteenth.
- June 20: “Collage prep.” Bring in your magazines, and let’s get cutting! We will produce collages for use in a project next month.
- June 25: “Volunteer Lunch,” in honor of our dynamic crew of contributors.
- June 26: Day trip to Nantucket. $35 per person for round-trip Hy-Line ferry tickets. Please contact Meris for more information.
- June 27: 2 pm, Michael Quinlan Presents, “Ukraine War 2024: The Future Is NOW!” Please call or register online.
- June 28: Birthday Cafe to celebrate those born in June.
