Twenty-one members of the Vineyard Cribbage Club met on Wednesday evening to play our favorite game of cribbage. The results were:
First, Sammi Burns with a 14/6 GRAND SLAM +164 card
Second, Richard Clark with a 12/4 +123 card with FOUR skunks!
Third, Ed Montesion with a 9/4 +65 card
Fourth, Roy Scheffer with an 8/4 +66 card
Fifth, Mary Alice Russell with an 8/4 +34 card
We had four 24-point hands, by our newest member Andria Jason, Mary Alice Russell, and two by Jack Silvia. There were a total of 12 skunks (a game won by more than 30 points).
We are meeting in the cafeteria at the high school this Wednesday at 6 pm; we start meeting up at 5:30 pm for something to eat, and we start playing at 6 pm sharp!
