To the Editor:
I spent the last week of October in Chicago, and came home with COVID-19. Doc said it was a mild case, but I could have some Paxlovid in case it worsened. This sounded good to me.
At the pharmacy they wanted $716 for the scrip. They said it used to be on the (White) house. I told them no thanks.
However, should I pass on any time soon, I’d like my tombstone to read “Frugal to a fault.”
