Woodrow Williams (“Woody”) of Vineyard Haven died peacefully at home with his loving wife, Phyllis, and his daughter, Vanessa, by his side.
Woody was a member of the U.S. Marine Corps and a veteran of the Vietnam War. He died on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2025, which was the day after the 250th birthday of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was 74 years old. A full obituary will follow in another edition of this paper.
