Each session includes interactive conversation practice, culturally rich activities, and visits from Brazilian guest speakers who bring authentic stories and lived experiences to the classroom.
Instructor Maria Angela Moreira has decades of experience in the field of education, holding a B.A. in pedagogy and a postgraduate degree in teaching in the field of higher education. A native of Brazil, Moreira has been teaching Brazilian Portuguese on Martha’s Vineyard since 2015. She is also the founder of Moreira Education Solution, where she continues her dedication to high-quality, community-centered language education.
