The Vineyard Cribbage Club has cool swag, including baseball caps and t-shirts, and they subscribe to magazines produced by the American Cribbage Club. —Dena Porter

Twenty-two members of the Vineyard Cribbage Club met on Wednesday night to play our favorite game of cribbage. We welcomed four new players, and had a great time! They knew everyone đŸ™‚

The result of the night are as follows:

 

First, Collin Evanson with a 12/5 +133 card 

Second, Jack Silvia with a 12/5 + 82 card

Third, David Pothier with a 10/5 +45 card 

Fourth, Samantha Burns with a 9/4 +30 card

Fifth, Andria Jason with a 9/4 +26 card

 

Only two 24-point hands were dealt, to Albion Alley and David Pothier. There were a total of nine skunks, a game lost by more than 30 points. We also had two flush cribs (very rare), by Jack Silvia and Doug Werther.

Three of us are headed off-Island this weekend to compete in a national tournament to represent Roy and Tricia (Jack Silvia, Collin Evanson, and myself).

We meet on Wednesdays at the American Legion in Katama. If you like cribbage, 

we have a potluck every week at 5:30 pm, and we start playing at 6 pm SHARP.
