Milkweed and Merry Farm on the Island are launching a partnership for a community-supported agriculture program (CSA) to deepen the connection between Island agriculture, seasonal eating, and the home kitchen.

The CSA will run in two seasonal formats: full season, June 9 – Oct. 27, and summer season June 23 – Sept. 1. Members can choose between Veggie CSA, a weekly share of freshly harvested, seasonal produce from the farm, or Dinner and Dessert CSA: a curated seasonal offering developed in partnership with Salt Rock Chocolates, pairing farm-grown ingredients with locally made desserts.

Weekly pickups will take place on Tuesdays at the Agricultural Hall from 3 to 5:30 pm. In addition, the farms will have a presence at the West Tisbury Farmers Market on Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the season. Although not regularly open to the public, Milkweed Farm will host a special joint plant sale onsite (142 Quenames Road, Chilmark) on May 16 and 17, 9 am to 4 pm, offering an early opportunity for the community to engage directly with the space.
