To the Editor:
On May 7, the Oak Bluffs Democratic Town Committee had an organizational meeting to re-establish the DTC with a new, three-member executive committee and 14 inaugural members. The leadership includes Joseph C. Carter, chair; Susanna J. Sturgis, secretary; and Richard J. Toole, treasurer. Leon Brathwaite, vice chair of the Massachusetts Democratic Party, in his capacity as a state party official, attended the organizational meeting and ensured that the election of new members and officers was done in accordance with party procedures, and he was highly supportive in recruiting members.
