Three Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School (MVRHS) teams have had strong results in the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) playoffs so far as they prepare to take on their next opponents Monday.
The MVRHS varsity baseball team defeated Medfield 8-0 on Friday at the Martha’s Vineyard Shark Tank, and are scheduled to play Falmouth High School in Falmouth, Mass. at 3:30 pm Monday.
The boys’ varsity tennis team posted a 4-1 win over Fairhaven on Friday at the Ned Fennessy Courts in Oak Bluffs. They will play the winner of the game on Monday at 2 pm between Newburyport High School and Nantucket High School.
MVRHS girls’ varsity tennis cruised past Auburn High School with a 5-0 win last Thursday. The girls will take on North Reading High School in the round of 16 on Monday at the Ned Fennessy Courts at 3 pm.
