The annual Pride on-Island celebration on Martha’s Vineyard will take place from June 12 to 13, primarily centered in Oak Bluffs.
Friday, June 12
Pride Party kickoff. Head to the Ritz Café for a high-energy start to the weekend, featuring drag queens, a glitter bar, music, and swag. 8 pm.
Saturday, June 13
Drag King Storytime: Family-friendly event at the West Tisbury library featuring Benjamin Clover, to celebrate differences and diversity through books. 9:30 am.
Pride Parade Lineup: Marchers, floats, and walkers gather at the Island Queen Ferry Terminal in Oak Bluffs. 2 pm.
Pride Parade Step-Off: The parade marches from the terminal up Circuit Ave., and wraps through Narragansett and Niantic avenues, ending at Ocean Park. 3 pm.
Pride Happy Hour at the Ritz Cafe. Food specials, half-burgers, and live entertainment. 4 to 6 pm. Stick around a little later for the wrap-up celebration, with DJs, dancing, and games at The Ritz. 9 pm.
