The Emmy awardwinning comedian, writer, and host of NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers” is bringing his signature humor back to the Vineyard stage this summer for another evening of comedy benefiting the Chilmark Preschool.

“We cannot overstate how grateful we are to Seth for his continued support of the Chilmark Preschool,” said Rebekah Thomson, the Chilmark Preschool’s former longtime board president. “His sold-out shows have truly moved the needle for our preschool and the Island community it serves — and brought us all some much-needed laughs!”

For 21 years, the Chilmark Preschool has operated out of a leased classroom at Chilmark School on the Beetlebung campus. Increasing demand for toddler and preschool care among working families — coupled with school enrollment — has meant that the preschool has to construct a permanent home. After breaking ground last June, the new facility is set to open this September.

“We have $500,000 left to raise in the capital campaign for this urgently needed facility,” said Thomson. “So we invite everyone to be a part of this incredible project, and to join us for a fabulous evening of laughter on August 22.”

Saturday, August 22, at the Performing Arts Center at Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School. Doors open at 7 pm, and the show starts at 7:30 pm. Sponsorship packages are also available at select levels, including an exclusive preshow meet-and-greet with Seth Meyers. Sponsorships are limited. For details, contact info@chilmarkpreschool.com.
