To the Editor:
We had the opportunity to visit Tashmoo on Saturday. We used to go and enjoy the day swimming with family and friends. It was the highlight of summer for us. The kids had so much fun.
What we saw [Saturday] was horrible! We were tied to one of the moorings. We were planning to just sit in our tubes. It was sad to see nobody there. Even quite depressing. As I was getting ready to jump in and cool off, I noticed the horrible amount of seaweed. To swim in there would have horrified me. So sad that Tashmoo looks like a swamp. Is that what was wanted by the rulemakers of Tisbury? So sad to see.
