Join Nettie and Colin Ruel for an opening reception on Thursday, July 23, from 4 to 7 pm, and see the new work. Colin has brought in many beautiful paintings on history.
“So many of us and our parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents before us have stood on this Flying Horses platform, reaching for the brass ring and experiencing joy. This year marks the 150th anniversary of the oldest operating carousel in the country. Colin has painted a flying horse on a piece of the carousel’s original platform. This piece will be available at our opening reception,” the Ruel Gallery states.
