The Martha’s Vineyard Camp Meeting Association (MVCMA) announces the Wallflowers as the headliner for the 2026 Tabernacle live annual benefit concert. The Wallflowers will mark the 30th anniversary of their landmark album “Bringing Down the Horse” by performing their classic album in its entirety, in sequence.
The Wallflowers will pay tribute to the 50th anniversary of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers by also playing Petty’s 1982 album “Long After Dark” in its entirety. Jakob Dylan, the band’s chief songwriter, remains a vital performer in American rock music.
The opener for the Tabernacle concert will be Martha’s Vineyard band Wolftrap. Wolftrap was formed at a dairy farm by Miguel Bragança and Bailey Mae Gardener. Their harmony-driven songwriting is rooted in folk tradition while also embracing a philosophy of musical time-travel that has drawn comparisons to Dr. Dog, Fleetwood Mac, and Woody Guthrie.
The Tabernacle benefit concert supports the MVCMA’s work to offer a robust calendar of religious, cultural, and community programs, and its ongoing commitment to preserve and protect the grounds and structures of this National Historic Landmark.
