The State of Black Youth will be hosted by Dr. Aisha Mays, founder and CEO of Dream Youth Clinic, and will take place this Friday, August 14th in Oak Bluffs. This event will bring together leaders across youth health, education, and mental health to discuss what Black adolescents need to thrive.

“The State of Black Youth is an opportunity for leaders to come together and have an honest conversation about the challenges shaping the experiences and entire generation Black youth and the role we play as advocates in addressing them. We’ve brought together leading voices across adolescent medicine, tech, and behavioral health, aiming to move beyond identifying the challenges and instead towards implementing meaningful solutions. Together we will explore how we can strengthen the support, expand opportunities, and build the systems our Black youth need to thrive,” said Dr. Aisha Mays.
