The West Tisbury library will host Robert Gagel, M.D., for an interactive presentation on Friday, Sept. 4, from 3:30 to 5 pm. Dr. Gagel is a retired professor of medicine and the former head of internal medicine at MD Anderson Cancer Center, and will discuss new developments in osteoporosis prevention and treatment, along with strategies for protecting and preserving bone health.
