The Vineyard Cribbage Club brought out 20 players for our second tournament of the season as we bid a friendly “see ya next season” to our summer residents.
The results were as follows:
First, Jack Silvia with an 11/5 +76 card
Second, newcomer Joe Rock with a 10/4 +89 card
Third, Frank Fenner with a 9/4 +50 card
Fourth, Collin Evanson with a 9/4 +48 card
Fifth, Merrily Fenner with an 8/4 +33 card
We had four 24-point hands, Joe Rock snagging two, Sharon Barba and Ed Roman grabbing one each. Merrily Fenner was dealt the infamous, rare flush crib. Nine players rang the bell as they got skunked (a loss by greater than 30 points).
