Last Wednesday, 22 members of the Vineyard Cribbage Club met to play our favorite game at
the American Legion in Edgartown.
Two of us advanced to Bronze Level in the Grass Roots/American Cribbage Congress
by earning 1,000 points! Ron Ferreira and Mary Alice Russell join Jack Silvia, Collin Evanson,
and Bill Russell, who also earned it in the past year.
The results from last week are as follows:
First, Samantha Cron with a GRAND SLAM card, 13/6 +106!
Second, Frank Fenner with an 11/5 +87 card
Third, Andria Jason with an 11/5 +30 card
Fourth, George Giosmas with an 11/5 +63 card
Fifth, Alan Michaels with a 9/4 +54 card
We had three 24-point hands this week, played by Ron Ferreira, Andria Jason, and Merrily Fenner. Ten people were skunked (a loss of greater than 30 points).
If you are interested in cribbage, give us a try! We meet at 5:30 pm on Wednesdays.
