The Martha’s Vineyard Film Society presents the eighth annual Women in Film Festival (WIFF) at the Martha’s Vineyard Film Center. WIFF celebrates women in film, both in front of and behind the camera. This festival features stories that have not usually been told from a woman’s perspective.
Fewer than 20 percent of film directors are female; this holds true of film producers, composers, editors, and writers. WIFF actively works to highlight women.
