Ed Montesion weighed his next move in a game. —Dena Porter

Nineteen members of the Vineyard Cribbage Club meet to play our favorite game at

the American Legion in Edgartown. The results are as follows:

First, Collin Evanson with an 11/5 +87 card

Second, Ed Montesion with a 10/5 +83 card (Happy anniversary to you and Donna)

Third, Byram Devine with a 9/4 +51 card

Fourth, Frank Fenner with an 8/4 + 16 card

Fifth, Jack Silvia with an 8/4 +8 card

We had a rare hand played — Alecia Knight was dealt the amazing 28-point hand! She will score half of the skunk pot, which has not seen a 28 in the club since January. We had six 24-point hands again this week, played by Mary Alice Russell, Byram Devine,

Andria Jason, Suzanne Cioffi, Mary Giodarno, and Jack Silvia. Two flush cribs were played by Frank Fenner and Suzanne Cioffi, and six people got skunked (a loss of greater than 30 points).

If you are interested in cribbage, give us a try! We meet at 5:30 pm on Wednesdays for potluck, and start play at 6 pm sharp!
