The Massachusetts House of Representatives recently honored Vineyard Haven restaurateur Jean Dupon. At a ceremony at Le Grenier on October TK, the last night the restaurant was open, Mr. Dupon was awarded a certificate that read, in part, “Congratulations to Jean Dupon in recognition of your dedicated service for the past 36 years as chef and owner of Le Grenier, a beloved Island eatery, located in the heart of Vineyard Haven, serving French cuisine to locals and visitors since 1978.”
Mr. Dupon recently closed the doors on his longtime place and plans to divide his time between Martha’s Vineyard and Florida.
