I've written the following to the Edgartown selectmen: In response to the latest Comcast proposal for cabling Chappaquiddick, it is doubtful that any homeowner located along a town or state road on the entire Island of Martha's Vineyard has had to pay to get Comcast service to their property.

As the Island-wide Cable Advisory Board finishes up its negotiations with the Comcast Cable Company for a new 10-year license for cable TV coverage of Martha's Vineyard, property owners on Chappaquiddick are apprehensive and hopeful of support from the rest of the Island of Martha's Vineyard in obtaining Cable TV for Chappaquiddick.

On Saturday morning, about 50 Chappaquiddickians gathered to hear Chappaquiddick Bike Path advocate Dan Dulaski, funded by the Chappaquiddick Path Committee, give the third presentation of his plan for a two-way side bike path along the north side of the Chappaquiddick Road.
