Maxwell Martin of Edgartown recently completed 10 months of full-time service in AmeriCorps’s National Civilian Community Corps. NCCC projects support disaster relief, the environment, energy conservation, infrastructure improvement, and urban and rural development.

Lauren Cosette Harte, daughter of Joyce and Victor Harte of New York and Edgartown, will marry Kevin Lemar Hargrove, son of Carlotta and Tony Hargrove of San Antonio, Texas, at the Old Whaling Church in Edgartown on August 7, 2010. A reception will follow immediately at the Dr. Daniel Fisher House.
Lindsay Lamana and Michael Brown
Michael Brown, son of Teri and Bobby Brown of Edgartown, Mass., married Lindsay Lamana, daughter of Jayne and Mike Lamana of Carmel, NY., July 31, 2010. The couple were married at the Brown’s family home in Edgartown. They enjoyed a beautiful weekend with family and friends, and a festive pig roast.
Alannah Ledfor and Corey Dechaine
Alannah (Laney) Ledford, daughter of Kelly Wheeler of Pocasset, Mass., will marry Corey Dechaine, son of Kenneth Yelle of Fall River, on September 3, 2010. The couple will be married in the same church where the bride’s parents wed.

Chloe J. Cook
Heidi and Peter Cook of Edgartown announce the birth of their daughter, Chloe Jane Cook, on July 30, 2010 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Chloe weighed seven pounds, seven ounces and joins big brother Kenny Cook.
Camden E. Welch
Trina Brown and David Welch of Edgartown announce the birth of their daughter, Camden Elaine Welch, on August 1, 2010 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Camden weighed six pounds, seven ounces.
Colten M. Davidson
Rebecca Macleod and Paul Davidson of West Tisbury announce the birth of their son, Colten Michael Davidson on August 3, 2010 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Colten weighed six pounds, three ounces and joins big sister Nyssa Duarte.
